Runes are one of the most essential features of Drakensang Online, alongside with the Gems. They enhance specific stats upon inserting them into Rune Trinkets.
Runes have tiers: Common, Uncommon, Magic, Extraordinary, Legendary. The higher the tier, the greater the values it provides. The Rune Upgrade option is available for each tier, responsible to your progression with the Rune Rarity Carver achievement.
